This winter, we will offer a great lineup of classes in conjunction with Red Wing Community Education! To register for this class, please call Community Education at 651.385.4565. The Goodhue County Historical Society, in partnership with the Minnesota Transportation Museum and The Bakken, invite the public for a unique tour experience The Bakken in Minneapolis Minnesota. The experience will begin with a self-guided exploration of the temporary exhibit Electrifying Minnesota, at the Goodhue County History Center. Participants will then board a bus, provided by the Minnesota Transportation Museum, and enjoy a boxed lunch as they learn about the relationship between energy and transportation. The Bakken will then facilitate exciting experiences which include a 45 minute theatrical presentation Finding Frankenstein, which explores the history and nature of science, electricity, and the human body, as well as a guided tour of the exhibits currently at The Bakken.
