DESCRIPTION:The Health and Wellness Ministry team is inviting all women in the community to a Wellness presentation on April 16th at 10 AM at First Lutheran entitled\; Be still and know that I am God? from Psalm 46:10. The presenter\, Julie Woodruff\, will speak to the distractions\, ruminations\, multitasking and stress that cause us to live in the past or the future\, seldom in the present. Julie Woodruff has a Master?s Degree in Nursing and has spent her career working in the wellness arena with expertise in tobacco cessation\, lifestyle behavior change\, the power of positive thinking and stress management. The session will provide practical ways to respond to stressors through pray\, mediation\, forgiveness\, expressing gratitude and mindfulness practices. Fellowship/coffee hour will follow the presentation. A $5 donation is requested for the event
