100-Mile Garage Sale Sign-Up (For Lake City Area Residents Only)

 
100-MILE GARAGE SALE MAP SIGN-UP AT CHAMBER OFFICE
 
People planning to hold garage sales in the Lake City area during the annual 100-mile Garage Sale can sign up April 20 through May 2 at the Lake City Chamber of Commerce, 101 W. Center Street. Office hours are 9 to 5pm.
 
The $5 sign-up fee includes placement on a map (with address on the back) that will be distributed in Lake City throughout the weekend, plus ribbons and balloons to mark sale sites. Maps will be distributed to Kwik Trip (Lakeshore Dr. and Lyon Ave.), Big Bear Pizzeria and Deli, Burger King, AmericInn, Lake Pepin Campground and John Hall’s Alaska Lodge.
 
The 100-mile Garage Sale dates are Friday, May 4, through Sunday, May 6, 2012.
Garage sales are held that weekend in towns around Lake Pepin including Lake City, Frontenac, Red Wing, Reads Landing and Wabasha in Minnesota and Bay City, Maiden Rock, Stockholm, Pepin and Nelson, Wisconsin.
