Wabasha County Historical Society will be hosting an open house celebrating generations of homemakers whose home baked treats have filled cookie jars and been the stars of local bake sales, church socials and county fairs. Local volunteers will be sifting through family recipes to provide favorite homemade goodies and sharing cherished memories of baking and eating these delicious treats. Free to the public. The Wabasha County Historical Society will provide lemonade/coffee to enjoy with the treats. If you’re a baker and would like to offer a baked good made from a family recipe, please contact Anne Tabat at 612 804 7925 by September 10. |
